A well established and growing FMCG business has a permanent requirement for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This production facility is based in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. The ideal candidate will be confident in fault finding on both electrical and mechanical systems. This is a 4 on 4 off shift, working 2 days (6am-6pm) 2 nights (6pm-6am) with the following 4 days off.
Salary: £ 31,225 p.a. + £3,000 shift allowance + 5% annual bonus + Pension + Benefits

The Maintenance Engineer will implement proactive maintenance programs/systems focused on improving safety, on-stream reliability, increase productivity and reduce maintenance costs. In addition to clear communication with the engineering suppliers to ensure that the spare parts are in stock.
The Maintenance Engineer will ensure that all training needs are identified and are included in the people plan. You will co-ordinate and manage continuous improvement initiatives, in conjunction with the Engineering Manager, whilst also identifying and implementing key project solutions which will prevent future downtime to ensure an efficient manufacturing progress.
The Maintenance Engineer will be someone who is able to fault find on both electrical and mechanical machines. You will have previous experience of working within a reactive and PPM environment where continuous improvement initiatives are championed.
This particular role operates a 12-hour shift with the pattern of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off for which you will be compensated with a £3000 shift allowance on top of the salary.
