A globally leading manufacturing group has a new vacancy for a Senior HR Officer to join the team. An experienced HR professional candidates are sought with good HR generalist skills preferably gained within a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £ 38,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. + benefits.

Employee engagement and development
Work with senior management to identify training & development plans
Manage Recruitment, Selection and Assessment
Employee relations and communications
Deliver induction processes and training
Disciplinary and Grievance (up to and including dismissal stage)
Attendance and Absence Management.
Monitor return to work interview processes
Performance Management and Development
Identify areas for change in line with new legislation
Build effective working relationships with unions & employees
Ideally degree or CIPD qualified
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong generalist HR experience
Practical working knowledge of employment laws
Strong IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
High level of organisation and administration skills
Strong communication skills to work with people at all levels within the business
Able to travel to another UK site a couple of times a month
You will need to have a proactive and positive approach to the job, being results focussed with the ability to influence and build relationships.
